    Foto Friday

    September 8th, 2011

This week’s Foto Friday is brought to you by Kelly M Photography. Kelly took photos for G’s 3rd birthday, and S2’s 9m. They were taken at a secret photo location I scoped out a few months ago. I was saving it for S2’s 1st birthday pics, but I was quite frankly at a draw for what to do for this session. I’m super thrilled we did it now though, because the weather was perfect for that spot, and the pictures came out great. Thank you, Kelly!

I’m so hungry, I can eat a dinosaur!

    (aka, Hmn… tastes like chicken)

Will THIS fit in my mouth?

    I kick it!

Give me some old time Rock N’ Roll!

Safety first! Dinos get buckled in too

Does this scream trouble to you?

Move along, nothing to see. I’m eating, here!

    ZZZZZZZZ!

Do you think I have enough spoons for my oatmeal? 5 good?

Ok, who’se gonna clean up this mess?

Nap? What nap? I’m not tired!

My toes are the best toy. Ever!

    Nom, nom, nom, nom.

From the fair the other week. G did some sliding:

(btw, thank you oblivious parent for standing RIGHT in front of me at the most opportune moment. I’m sure my honkin’ huge lens was easy to miss.)

    and pet some animals:

    run from the town mascot

and ride a little train. But S2 needed to eat then, so my hands were otherwise occupied.

S fulfilled his life-long dream of imitating a hamster… except he didn’t really manage to run in his wheel.

S2 spent most of our visit sleeping 🙂

“Hey, Ma! This baby keeps copying everything I do!”

    Some moments in time

    June 1st, 2011

For S2’s 6m photo-shoot I asked Kelly to capture a few moments of me with S2 that mean a lot to me: bath-time and dinner-time. Those are mostly 1:1 time for the two of us, and it’s something I really want to remember. She did a great job.

AND she also took an amazing photo of all of us together (including the blur that was G 3 months ago). Thank you, Kelly!

You can see the full set here.

“Can you hear me now?” G and S talking. To each other.

S2 on the other hand got to chill with his buddy D. D not having been around dudes his size was very intrigued. He wanted to spoon,

    check out the competition,

    and pull on some ears.

S2, on the other hand, got tired of the last part of that inspection pretty fast.

How we spent our Easter Sunday.

G played hide and seek with me

    … and his baby:

    He gave it hugs

    and milk

“I no spill it, Mama. I no spill it!”

    He changed it’s diaper

    and poked it’s belly-button

Meanwhile, S2 made faces at Daddy

And I got to stay in my pajamas all day. It doesn’t get much better than this!

    Welcome to the Bunny Farm

Ensuring that both my sons have equal reason to seek therapy 🙂

    Happy Easter everyone!!!

Use the force, Luke! Use the force!

Taking care of his crack-berries 🙂

… while of course S2 supervises

Woa! Did you see the size of this pot?

    Monterey Bay Aquarium

    March 31st, 2011

This is a small photo dump from my trip down to Monterey with G a last month (or was it the month prior?). It was a loooong drive. I hadn’t been there in years, and let me tell you, 2 hours with a toddler in the car makes a car journey seem longer than it would be otherwise. He did pretty well, but still, spending your day sitting in a vehicle for 4 hours is not his idea of a good time.

He dug all the fish though and really got a kick of watching all the scuba divers doing feedings. His favorite was watching the sharks be hand-fed (well wand-fed, really). I was just happy I was on the other side of the shark-infested glass 🙂
