Neko’s new favorite nap spot (although last week he was pretty partial to one of S2’s clothes bins)
Chillin’ with the daddy
How is this not the most peaceful sleep ever? It hurts to have to wake him
Fascinating!
Child loves to floss. Wierdo!

Amazing what a blanket can do.
G immediately proceeded to rescue our printer from the shackles of baby-proofing equipment, and my scanner power button from the loneliness of not being turned on/off 20 times in immediate procession 🙂

S2’s first day at daycare: on the way
Bouncers. Apparently, good for kitties too.
Little readers: one of the cutest things ever. They just curled up to each other.
I am the moon, and G is the sun
Cupcake eating is a competitive sport around here. If you don’t eat yours fast enough, G comes after it (even though he has his own).
Helping Daddy swap the locks
A rare treat for you all. Me!

When Kelly took photos of G when he was about 8 weeks old, she took a great picture of him over S’ arm. We had it printed on canvas. Because it was such a cool photo, we wanted to do it again with S2. So today I did. We put S2 facing the other direction on a white background vs. the black. My Canvas-On-Demand order should be arriving in a few weeks. I can’t wait to hang them together.
My two boys: butt to butt.
PS. Although S2 is a little older than G, gestationally they are about the same age when these pics was taken.

G curled up in my lap while I was nursing S2. It was the sweetest moment.
Brotherly love
S2 cuteness. I love that his eyes just sparkle. No matter where he is, what light he’s in, they just sparkle.
Yummy pizza
Tall tower
G got this CD player for his first birthday. He loves it to this day and I caught him singing with the songs too.

We had our pink tree monstrosity cut down last week. G got to watch. He was fascinated.
Look at that smile!
We call this a passed-out beeb
I’ll take ‘Things that make you go “Hmn!”‘ for 100, Alex!
“Fine. If you take my basket, I will sit in yours.”
“There! Now, THAT’S more like it.”
Mr. Potatohead art
G insists on using every block when making a tower. He’s really more of a supervisor. We end up being the builder bees.
Hmn… I guess I won’t be hiring THAT guy to babysit

I’m not sleeping. I’m just thinking real hard!
G gets the star honors this year…
…and gets Hi-5s for a job well done
Bath-time fun. We clean ourselves. We clean the shower door…
… and then sit in a bucket (3 sizes too small) to take a rest.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to get photos of G these days? Or more specifically get him to cooperate for said photos. Yeah, well, it’s hard. Which is why I was dumbfounded when G agreed for me to take his picture WITH his umbrella.
While I couldn’t find him the yellow umbrella he requested, I found a cute monkey one instead. Best part is that G likes it! We’ve had to have words about when he can use his umbrella. We’re OK to keep it out of the house, but are still trying to convince him that he can’t open it while in the car. Small steps, I say.
Anyway, to give S a bit of a break from the Big Dude, I took him and his umbrella on a photo date. G even occasionally posed. I know!!!! Shocking.
Now… what else I can get him excited about so that he’ll let me take photos of him.

A year ago, I scavenged my local parks for fall foliage. I was surprised just how many of my local parks have ever greens. It’s fall, dang it. I wanna see some colors. Well, I found one, and had a really fun time taking pics of G amongst the leaves. This year, I wanted to go back, now that G was older, and take more pictures. I had high hopes, and grandiose plans that we could have a great photo shoot, again amongst the leaves, with G frolicking and throwing them up in the air. Clearly I’d forgotten who I’m dealing with, because the only thing that interested G were the fallen branches off the trees. Any interaction he had with the fallen leaves was to stir them up with his sticks. Oh well… maybe next year? But fear not, I shall not leave you without G cuteness.
I love these pants. The rear view is just too cute.
The park is right on the edge of the CalTrain tracks, so when a train rode right by, G went crazy nuts excited.
Auntie P spent the week-end with us too. She read to G a bit
And hold S2 (she’s been sick the last few weeks, so this was their first snuggle session)
Speaking of S2, here’s Little Dude enjoying his crib mobile
