Happy New Year!
December 31st, 2011With another year about to pass, I see a lot of friends bid good riddance to 2011. However, as I reflect on these last 365 days, I do so with a great deal of contentment. It’s been a good year.
- S2 started daycare. He now causes trouble at two places 🙂
- We remodeled our back-yard. G rides his bike there; we enjoyed the little veggies we planted in the spring (… well, as much as we were able to rescue from the local wild-life feasting off them); and G’s been loving marshmallow time with S
- I quit my old job and started a new one
- G had his first on-stage performance, and was happy to add his very own hand choreography. I occasionally get this song stuck in my head.
- G turned 3
- We did our first visit to Disneyland, and while G was impressed by the most ordinary, mundane things found back home, we all had a great time
- We had a fantastic trip to Virginia visiting S’ family.
- S2 celebrated many first milestones: crawling, walking, sprouting teeth… a big first birthday
Thank you 2011!
I have two simple (well, maybe not so simple) hopes of 2012: for S to find a new gig he will be happy with, and for our families to continue being in good health.
Happy New Year!
